Our story
A lamp, a lake,
and a promise.
Lychnis takes its name from Lychnidos, the city of light, as Ohrid was known for a thousand years. The lamp in our mark is the one that burned in the windows of the old town, guiding boats home across the water.
Elena Stojanovska opened our first office on the Ohrid quay with a single listing and a simple idea: that a home should be sold the way it was built, with patience and with care. Seventeen years later we represent many of the finest residences in the country, and the idea has not changed.
We take on fewer homes than we are offered. We visit every one. We tell buyers what we would want to know, and sellers what they may not want to hear. It has made us slower than some, and trusted by more.
